Restaurant Solitary arrives
from the idyllic forests and
lake landscapes of Rantasalmi
to the seaside Restaurant Shelter in Helsinki
for a unique collaborative dinner
on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Solitary has once again been selected as the 9th best restaurant in Finland,
serving exquisitely crafted dishes made from local ingredients
in the heart of the forests of Rantasalmi, near Järvisydän.

Solitary’s philosophy is deeply rooted in local collaboration
and the culinary traditions of the Rantasalmi region and its neighboring municipalities.
The restaurant works closely with small local producers, hunters, fishermen, and farmers, allowing the menu to be built around seasonal and locally available ingredients.

As a result, every dish reflects the craftsmanship, flavors,
and traditions of the surrounding area.

On Saturday, June 13, Solitary’s head chef and restaurateur
Remi Trémouille will arrive at Ravintola Shelter.

Together with Shelter’s kitchen team,
led by Ville-Petteri Kröger and Timo Pelander,
Remi will create a six-course menu that brings together
the culinary traditions of the Rantasalmi region
and Shelter’s signature dishes, featuring the finest ingredients of the summer season.

The silence of the forest meets the urban seascape, for one night only.
